Camden Baucke, MS, LLP (HE/HIM)

Staff therapist

Do you call yourself a people-pleaser or perfectionist? Do you feel like you're never enough? Have you been feeling depressed or do you endure your day with extreme stress, loneliness, and constantly fighting off negative thoughts? You might be dealing with social anxiety, trauma, or depression. You might want relief, yet you may feel tempted to "tough it out." I understand that thought, but your life is worth addressing right now and I'd like to help you do so. You deserve to feel relief, and you deserve a therapist who can help you get there. Whatever you may bring to therapy, if it's important to you, it's important to me.

I will help you understand your life at your pace. I specialize in trauma, social anxiety, and depression and use modern evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). It takes time to build trust, but I can offer you a non-judgmental and warm environment to grow, explore, and heal.

Starting therapy is not easy, but I appreciate your courage. The first sessions begin with building trust, validation, and learning more about you. From there we will work together towards a place of understanding, confidence, and happiness. If you'd like to start this journey, please reach out today! The first step is hard, but it could be the leap you need.

I am currently supervised by Dr. Hunt-Carter.

I am seeing clients exclusively online. If you have arranged to meet with me virtually, you will be able to reach me at your appointment time at www.doxy.me/GreatLakesCamden. If you do not have an appointment, you will not be able to access me through this link.

Erin Hunt-Carter, PHD, LP (she/her)

Director, Therapist

I am not currently accepting new clients. If you are a new client and want to see me for therapy, please call and we will be happy to place you on my waiting list (updated 2/15/24).

My name is Dr. Erin Hunt-Carter. I am a clinical psychologist and the director of the clinic.  I would like to tell you a bit about myself and my approach to therapy.

I recognize that everyone is different and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I will work with you to develop an individualized plan to address the issues that are bringing you to therapy. I use a variety of evidence-based treatments. In particular, I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, elements of dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based techniques. Click here to continue reading

I sincerely believe that all people have equal inherent worth and that self-acceptance and compassion are core components of the relationships we have with ourselves and others. I use principles from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other mindfulness-based and interpersonally-focused treatments to help clients live meaningful, effective, and authentic lives. I have experience treating adults with a range of anxiety and personality disorders, depression, and trauma. I am particularly interested in working with clients through relationship and parenting stressors and traumas, body image exploration and healing, grief, and anxiety.

I completed my master's degree in clinical-behavioral psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 2013. I have worked and trained extensively in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and have practiced mindfulness for over 15 years. I am a full-time faculty member at The University of Michigan - Flint, where I teach, study, write, and speak about mindfulness-based clinical interventions regularly. Toni Boelter, BS (she/her)

Client Services Specialist

I am a retired teacher and grandmother who works part-time for Dr. Hunt-Carter. I love meeting new people, and as a former therapy patient, it is my goal to make starting therapy an easy and friendly process. I check insurance coverages and manage some of the small day-to-day scheduling issues that sometimes arise. Your first contact with our office will most likely be a short phone conversation or text with me, at which time you can ask questions and I will share basic information about our therapists and the practice. I look forward to speaking with you!
